Vija Klucniece is philologist of Latvian language and literature, married and mother of two sons. She has owned dogs since 1977, first breed being a Rough Collie. She started her breeding in 1980 and has bred Kleinspitz, Chow Chows and nowadays Papillons, Papillons of her breeding are multi National, International Champions and Winners. She has been judging since 1998 and besides Latvia she has judged in Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Bulgaria and Australia, in many European and World Winner shows. She acted as the President of the Latvian Toy Breeds Club and is since 1996 the President of the Latvian Cynological Federation.

Yvonne started in dogs with Bouvier des Flandres as a Junior in 1969. Breeding Bouviers under the prefix 'BARBU Perm Reg¡¯d', JBB, and BARJEN, she has had many exciting wins at the American National Bouvier Specialty, the earliest being in 1975 with Best of Winners.  She was also the owner of the Top Dog all Breeds in Canada in 1984. Yvonne has bred and shown multiple Best in Show winners in Canada and the US. She bred and owned various #1 Bouviers in Canada and the USA. Although her focus was Bouviers, she has owned and shown Irish Setters, Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, Pekingese, and presently Affenpinscher. She is proud to say her current Affenpinscher won BIS 3 at the World Dog Show 2023 in Geneva. She began her judging career in 1996 and is an approved AKC and CKC All Breeds Judge. She has had the great honor of judging the American National Bouvier Specialty, the Canadian National Bouvier Specialty, and the New Zealand Bouvier Specialty. Yvonne has served on various Breed Health Committees and is an approved Bouvier Breed Mentor. She has judged numerous Breed Specialties including the Belgian Sheepdog Club of America Regional, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherd ASCA shows, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, Boston Terrier, American and English Cocker Spaniels, Doberman Pinscher, Irish Setter, German Shorthair Pointer, Shetland Sheepdogs, Papillons, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, as well as numerous Herding and Working dog Breed Specialty shows. She has had the pleasure of adjudicating in Canada, USA, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, and the Philippines.

She was born in a family of dog lovers, lived with dogs and attended dog show with her father since childhood. She bred and owned Maltese, Toy Poodle, French Bull Dog, Shih Tzu, English Bull Dog, Whippet, Wire Dachshund, Pug, Miniature Schnauzer, Yorkshire Terrier and Taiwan Dog.

She started to groom her show dogs in 2000. From then on, as a handler, she accomplished championship dogs contained multiple breeds and also got BIS and BISS awards. The Maltese she owned and handled got the top 1 place in the ranking of Maltese for 1 5 consecutive years (since 2008) in Taiwan. Moreover, in 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2021, her Maltese got the top 1 of Taiwan All-breed Ranking. In 2013, representing Taiwan to attend EWC world cup and her Maltese won award of ¡°Finalist¡±. She also showed dogs in other countries and achieved big success.

She was invited to Zhengzhou in China in 2016 and America Maltese Association (AMA) for Maltese grooming demonstration. In 2020, she finished the judging courses and was approved as all-breed judge. She has been invited to judge in Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Japan,Russia Moscow Eurasia Show 2023 ,Australia and Vietnam.

He has been active as a professional trainer for 30 years and has been instrumental in introducing and popularizing a vast array of breeds in the Korean market, including the Akita, German Shepherd Dog, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Border Collie, Doberman, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, English Pointer, Samoyed, Pug, Boxer, Beagle, American Cocker Spaniel, Borzoi, and Chihuahua. Throughout his career, he has produced 120 Korean Champions in numerous dog shows.

Currently, he has been serving as a professor at Yonam University for over 18 years. He is actively involved as a licensed judge for Dog Shows, IGP (Schutzhund), Agility, and Companion Dog (CD) trials. He continues to expand his international judging career, having been invited to judge dog shows and training competitions in numerous countries, including Korea, China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, Russia, South Africa, Japan, Mongolia, and Vietnam.
