¡Ú Requirements for entering KKF dog shows ¡Ú

 - Dogs registered with the Korea Kennel Federation (KKF) or with an FCI-affiliated organization (Must be at least 3 months and 1 day old).
 - Only dogs that have received a rabies vaccination within the past year are eligible to participate.
 - From the Junior Class and above, the dog's microchip number must be recorded on the pedigree certificate to be eligible.
 - Dogs with aggressive behavior, dogs in heat, long-haired breeds that have been clipped in a way not conforming to the breed standard, or dogs with contagious diseases or skin problems are restricted from participating.

Jose Homem de Mello was born into a dog-loving family and has been surrounded by dogs since his early childhood. In 1984, alongside his wife Teresa, he began breeding Basset Hounds in Lisbon under the world-renowned kennel name ¡®Dos Sete Moinhos¡¯. Throughout more than 25 years of dedicated breeding, he has produced numerous champions. His most prestigious achievements include winning Best in Show (BIS) at the 1995 Brussels FCI World Dog Show, the 2001 Milan Dog Show, and the 2003 Helsinki Winner Show. Furthermore, in 2003, his dog was honored with the title of ¡®Dog of the Year¡¯ in Denmark. As a highly distinguished international judge, he has officiated in various countries across the globe. He is frequently invited to judge at the world¡¯s most prestigious events, including the FCI World Dog Shows and the European Section Shows.

Best In Show

Denise Flaim is a long-time breeder of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a professional journalist and award-winning author, and the former editor and publisher of two highly regarded international dog magazines, Sighthound Review and Modern Molosser. Today she publishes fine-quality dog books under her Revodana Publishing imprint, with a special focus on the evolution and preservation of our heritage breeds. Denise is vice president of the Morris & Essex Kennel Club, and judges all breeds in the AKC Hound, Working and Non-Sporting groups, as well as a number of Sporting breeds. She has judged at all-breed and specialty shows in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France and Sweden.

Mr. Ichiro Ishikawa

FCI/JKC All Breed Judge

Ichiro Ishikawa has been involved in breeding Dachshunds and has produced more than 90 JKC champions. The most famous dog won the BIS 8timos in a row. He has also been involved in breeding West Highland White Terriers, Pekingese, and so on. He has recognized as a dachshund judgos license in 1987, began judging the following year, and became an all-breed judge in 2002. And He has judged at many shows throughout Japan including the FCI International Dog Shows and National Specialty Shows for Dachshunds, Beagles, Siberian Huskies and Pomeranians. Currently he works as the Manager of the JKC Judges Education Section and devoting himself to educating dog show judges. He has judged at many shows in China, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India.

Growing up surrounded by animals from a young age under his parents' influence, he developed a particular passion for dogs. In 1990, he began his career as a judge for the Korea Kennel Federation (KKF). While initially specializing in German Shepherd Dogs and Jindo Dogs, he gradually expanded his expertise to include small breeds. He has successfully bred German Shepherd Dogs, Great Danes, Akitas, and Jindo Dogs, earning numerous awards at various dog shows. Later, he shifted his focus to breeding toy breeds, including Toy Poodles, Papillons, Long-haired Chihuahuas, and Pomeranians. With extensive judging experience both domestically and internationally, he continues to be an active and prominent figure in the judging community today.

Mr. Ki Hyun Shin
(Korea, Republic of)

FCI/KKF 9 Group Judge

He began his career in 2000 with Shih Tzus and Poodles, eventually becoming a professional handler for various breeds in the Toy and Working Groups, including Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, Coton de Tuléars, Siberian Huskies, and Alaskan Malamutes. In 2005, he established 'Hyun¡¯s Magic Shih Tzu' kennel and began breeding Shih Tzus. As a specialized breeder, he has produced numerous champions and Best in Show (BIS) winners at both FCI and KKF dog shows.

He is an KKF/FCI Group 9 judge. In addition to the Toy Group, he holds judging licenses for a diverse range of breeds, including the Welsh Corgi Pembroke, Shetland Sheepdog, Border Collie, Wire Fox Terrier, Norwich Terrier, and Bedlington Terrier.

He also contributes to the field of pet aromatherapy management and welfare as a member of the Pet Aromatherapy Committee. Furthermore, he is dedicated to fostering the next generation of professionals by providing specialized pet skincare education at universities and other educational institutions.

¡Ø Applications may close early if fully booked.
¡Ø Booth cancellations must be requested via email only. (Phone cancellations not accepted)
¡Ø If canceled after the final deadline for the dog show, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged.
If the cancellation fee is not paid, you will not be eligible to apply for booths at future dog shows.
(Cancellations and refunds are only available up to 3 days before the event.)
